Kōura by David Trubridge

A substantial pendant light shade inspired by the intricately woven traps used by early Māori to catch kōura, the small native freshwater crayfish. It also echos the form a curled Koura, to create a spectacular sculptural lighting feature.

Part of the Seed System range of kit set light shades by David Trubridge made from sustainably grown bamboo plywood.

The Kit set includes all parts for the shade, plus a suspension cord and E27 / Edison screw lamp socket. (Ceiling rose & lamp sold separately)

Finishes available:

• Bamboo
• White Paint (two sides), Black Paint (two sides);
• Bamboo (on one side) with choice of Aqua, Black, Blue, Lime, Orange, Pink, Red or White. Paint colours are commonly faced on the interior of light shade.

Maximum 60w E27 Lamp – LED recommended

• 500mm Height x 300mm Diametre (small E14 lampholder – max 60w) See Kōura 500 in your home
• 750mm Height x 420mm Diametre See Kōura 750 in your home
• 1000mm Height x 550mm Diametre See Kōura 1000 in your home
• 1600mm Height x 950mm Diametre POA
• 2000mm Height x 1100mm Diametre POA
• 2400mm Height x 1400mm Diametre POA

NOTE: As bamboo is a natural material this light is suitable for dry interior spaces only.
