Bell House – Rangiputa

Lighting design for a high specification home on the Karikari Peninsula – Northland

Working in collaboration with Aleysha Pangari of AP Interiors, Firefly planned and supplied lighting for this beautiful new home, completed 2023. The general lighting was provided by Downlights from the Switch lighting range, complemented with feature lighting from Maker Design Studio, Flua, Hinkley, and Generation Lighting.  LED strip was for some indirect lighting, in ceiling coves and under kitchen benchtop & bathroom vanity.

The ‘Song D’ wall light by Flua makes a striking feature against this marble wall in the lobby.

A Wave light (horizontal) by Flua hangs over the dining table, complemented with discrete Zela downlights by Switch Lighting

Indirect light in the lounge comes from a cove in the ceiling lined with LED Strip.

The Brainna Single Wall Light by Generation lighting is used a bedside light in the master bedroom

The Secondary living space features both iO Drum Shades and the iO Tall Floor light by Maker Design Studio. Discrete white wall washer lights provide a soft indirect light in the evening.

Marble walls in the bathroom are illuminated by the Warby pendant (brass) by Hinkley Lighting. A discrete LED strip under the vanity bench acts as a soft nightlight.

The outdoor living features the Republic Wall Lantern by Hinkley, with supplementary downlighting provided by low glare Zela Downlights by Switch Lighting

Mini M-Lightz by Switch Lighting line the edge of the entry portico, while inground uplighter highlight both the brick wall and the warm tones of the timber ceiling.
